The Atomic Redster X9i WB Revo takes elements of a full race build and implements them into a more resort-friendly chassis. At 75 millimeters under the boot, you get a slightly wider platform than a typical race ski, but don't worry... You don't lose any of the edge hold. Two Titanium laminates sandwich a powerful wood core of Poplar and Ash providing torsional stiffness and precision for unwavering edge grip on firm snow. In the forebody of this ski, Atomic uses their Revoshock Technology; a series of spring steel modules that act like a suspension system in your ski. This gives the Redster X9i WB a tremendously smooth and precise feel through the turn and allows the ski to stay on its intended line as opposed to deflecting off of any chop in the snow. These skis are like a freight train with the turning radius of a sedan. A tight radius of 13 meters will have you cutting across the fall line almost instantaneously thanks to a generous side cut and fully cambered profile. Coming straight from the race room, carving enthusiast and ex-racers will love the way this ski performs at high speeds on firm snow, but thanks to a widebody construction, you won't have to worry about trenching too deep when the groomers are a little softer. This is about as precise and powerful as it gets when it comes to recreational carving skis.
